Lady Bruins Kick off 6A State

Big deal going on at Hillcrest Country Club on Monday, as we have the first of two 6A State Tournament’s being hosted in Bartlesville.
All the best of 6A girl’s golf will get going on Monday and into Tuesday at Hillcrest. Next week it will be the boy’s turn.
The entire Bartlesville High girl’s golf team qualified for state after finishing tied for sixth at Regionals on April 20 at Bailey Ranch in Owasso.
As KWON reported at the time, Vivian Symes knocked in a putt that was nearly 30-foot as the last player on the course to get Bartlesville tied for sixth, which qualified the entire bunch.
Head coach Layne Parham talks about getting all the girl’s qualified.
Tee times begin at 9:00 on Tuesday morning from both hole 1 and 10 at Hillcrest. All the Lady Bruins will tee off 10 minutes apart starting at 10:10 Monday morning from hole 1.
This is a two-round and two-day event with day two kicking off on Tuesday.
