New Bruin Soccer Coach Named

Bartlesville High Athletics has made its final varsity sports head coaching hire for the 2026-27 school year.

BHS announced that Josh Wolfe will take over the boys’ soccer program.

Wolfe is a longtime Bartian who was previously an assistant on the boys’ soccer staff from 2013-2017. He was also a school counselor from 2021 up until this coming school year.

Wolfe has helped lead multiple sports over his long tenure in youth athletics.

During last week’s Bruin Buzz program BHS Athletics and Activities Director Thad Dilbeck said the final hiring for this coming school year was imminent.

Wolfe replaces Cedric Muteshi, who resigned following the spring of 2026 season. Muteshi helped lead the Bruins to a 6A State Semifinal appearance in 2025.

Wolfe joins football coach Matt Hennesy, girl's basketball skipper Jason Flick, and softball coach Holden Yoder as new varsity head coaches at BHS for this upcoming school year.
