North Texas to OK-State in Portal

Oklahoma State football made some nationwide waves over the weekend, as the Cowboys and head coach Eric Morris signed three of the best available players in the transfer portal.
Commitments rolled in from the three best offensive players at Morris’ last gig at North Texas, along with several others. Mean Green quarterback Drew Mestemaker, running back Caleb Hawkins and wide out Wyatt Young are all headed to Stillwater.
Mestemaker will reportedly make seven million dollars over a two-year deal to play at Oklahoma State and spurned multiple offers from bigger brands. He was the nation’s leading passer last season with nearly 4,500 yards and 34 touchdowns.
After the commitments, most recruiting sites list Oklahoma State’s class of 2026 at No. 2 in the country.
