OK-State Wins Bedlam

To college football: It was an exciting final Bedlam at Boone Pickens Stadium on Saturday afternoon in Stillwater. Oklahoma State came up with just enough plays to top its in-state rival.

Cowboys beat the Sooners 27-24 in the final scheduled football game between the two schools.

In a series the Sooners have dominated, untimely mistakes that cost OU on Saturday. Oklahoma turned the ball over three times in front of the sellout road crowd, including two times with botched snaps. Despite the miscues the Sooners still had a chance to win it, down three with the ball with just under 2:00 remaining.

A throw from Dillion Gabriel to Drake Stoops would come up just short.

Here is how the final call sounded on the Oklahoma State Radio Network with Dave Hunziker.

Oklahoma State’s final touchdown drive went 97-yards for a score, aided by two Sooner penalties to begin the drive.

OU head coach Brent Venables talks about the contest postgame.

Oklahoma next hosts West Virginia while the Cowboys go to UCF this weekend.
