OKU Hoops Hosts Nowata

Nowata County's biggest rivalry returns on Tuesday night in Northern Nowata County as the Oklahoma Union Cougars host the Nowata Ironmen.
This will be the third matchup between the two teams this season. Nowata won both of the previous meetings.
For the Ironmen, they are coming off a loss on the road against the Dewey Bulldoggers on Friday night, 59-40. Head coach Derick Ott talked about some struggles at the rim on offense Friday night.
Nowata comes into the ballgame with a record of 10-8 overall.
On the other side, OKU will host Nowata for the first time this season after playing the Ironmen twice on the road. The Cougars have lost three straight following an 0-2 weekend in Ketchum two weeks ago. This is their first game since Jan. 23. Head coach Riley Duncan talked about getting Nowata at home.
The Cougars enter Tuesday's contest with an overall record of 3-15.
The action starts with the third matchup on the girls side as well between the Lady Ironmen and Lady Cougars at 6 p.m. The boys game will follow around 7:30 p.m. Full coverage of the boys game can be heard on 104.9 - KRIG and KRIGTV.com.
