OKWU Fall Sports Into Postseason Play

Fall sports are into postseason action at Oklahoma Wesleyan, with both soccer teams going into the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference championship matches.
On the soccer field, both the men's and women's soccer teams already punched their tickets to the NAIA national tournament as regular season KCAC champions. Both teams will play for a conference championship on Wednesday in Wichita, Kan. The Lady Eagles will play Friends University at 1 p.m. with the men playing Ottawa University at 4 p.m.
Head women's coach Ivan Ristic said it's the most exciting part of the year.
For women's volleyball, OKWU opens their KCAC tournament run on Tuesday. The Lady Eagles are currently 22-3 overall and 11-2 in conference play. They are the 4-seed in the KCAC tournament and will open against Kansas Wesleyan, a team the Lady Eagles swept on Oct. 18 at home.
OKWU will host KWU in the first round as the higher seed. First serve is set for 6 p.m. from the Mueller Sports Center.
