OKWU Hoops Returns Monday

Oklahoma Wesleyan men's basketball is back in action on Monday night for a non-conference exhibition against Spurgeon College.
The Eagles enter the contest 11-2 overall and 7-1 in Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference play. OKWU is coming off a thrilling 83-81 road win over Bethany College on Saturday afternoon.
While being in a battle for the top spot in the KCAC and sitting at the No. 6 spot in the country, OKWU also ranks No. 2 in RPI. The Eagles have the ninth ranked toughest schedule in the country. Head coach Donnie Bostwick talked about the importance of the RPI.
The Eagles host Spurgeon College on Monday night, a Division II National Christian Collegiate Association (NCCAA) school out of Kansas City, Missouri. The Knights are 10-2 overall and have scored over 100 points in five games, including a double-overtime win over Greenville University, 162-156.
The Knights share a common opponent with the Eagles, they fell to Southwestern College (KS) on Dec. 31, 107-64.
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. from the Mueller Sports Center. Coverage can be heard on KWON - AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1.
