OKWU Men's Basketball Standout Transfers to IPFW
Oklahoma Wesleyan University men's basketball standout Tamaje Izuagbe has committed to Purdue University Fort Wayne.
Izuagbe just finished his second season with OKWU, highlighted by a regular season and tournament conference championship this past season, a 30-win campaign and a trip to the round of 16 in the NAIA national tournament. Izuagbe was part of last year's national runner-up team.
Izuagbe was also named an NAIA All-American for his incredible season, including the Player of the Year in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Izuagbe is the second player in the last two seasons to transfer from OKWU to a Division I school. Derrick Talton, Jr. committed to the University of Buffalo following last year's national championship appearance.
