Panthers Look to Build on First District Win

Following a road win at Summit Christian last week, the Barnsdall Panthers will look to build on that momentum, as the Panthers prepare for a road trip to Afton on Thursday.
As of now, with a 1-3 district record, the Panthers are on the outside looking in of playoff contention. The Eagles come into the game winless on the season and Barnsdall coach Kylee Sweeney says with only one senior on the team, Afton is still struggling to find its footing.
Sweeney knows Barnsdall must win these next three games to have a chance at getting in the playoffs. Without looking too far ahead, Sweeney also says says his team can only control so much.
With potential rain in the forecast, Barnsdall's game at Afton has been moved up to Thursday. Kickoff is still slated for 7 p.m.
