Patriot Athlete of the Week: Shooter Brewington

Back to regularly scheduled programming for a Monday and this week we have another Patriot Auto Area Athlete of the Week.
This week we head up to Copan to talk to Hornet three-sport athlete Shooter Brewington. Brewington was an outstanding standout on the football field, as he was one of the top tacklers in Oklahoma in Class B over the past two seasons. However, Brewington is also a basketball and baseball standout.
Brewington is a shooting guard on the Copan basketball team, which is off to a 4-2 start.
Brewington talks about his background in athletics.
Copan has been stellar on the gridiron, and the basketball court the past few years in large part thanks to athletes from Copan’s senior class of 2026. Copan football hosted playoff games each of the past two seasons and basketball has had good runs under head coach Kolton Stacy.
Brewington talks about the success the Hornets have had at both of those major sports.
Brewington says despite all that success, baseball is his favorite sport of the three. Former Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina is still his favorite athlete. Brewington says is undecided on what he wants to do in the future and mentioned playing baseball or football at the next level or perhaps welding.
Brewington talks about his main hobbies, like hunting and fishing – and why he likes them.
