Pawhuska Announces New Football Coach
Pawhuska Public Schools has announced the hiring of a new football coach. Brandon Gipe, who has spent the previous two seasons at Crescent, was named the new football coach at a school board meeting on Thursday night.
Gipe is only 31, but has had previous stops at Luther High School and Oklahoma Panhandle State University, which is where he also played four years of college football. Gipe said he wanted to learn as much as possible from other coaches at a young age.
Gipe goes on to talk about what made the Pawhuska job so attractive to him after spending two years at Crescent.
Gipe led the Tigers to a 5-5 season last year and went 3-7 in 2024. We will have much more on Gipe being named the new football coach at Pawhuska in the coming weeks.
