Playoff Races Heating Up in NE Oklahoma

We are coming down to it in high school football across Northeast Oklahoma. Only two regular season weeks remain and there are several teams still in the mix for playoff spots.

Bartlesville, Dewey, Pawhuska, Barnsdall and Copan all have legitimate chances at the postseason.

Copan has already clinched a spot in Class B. Same with Pawhuska in A-I. Bartlesville will be in with two wins over PC West and Capitol Hill. Dewey will need some help, but is still alive for the playoffs.

The Bruins hosting bid took a major shot during a one-point loss to Ponca City this past Thursday night.

Head coach Harry Wright postgame.

BHS starts what will likely be three straight weeks in the Oklahoma City metro this Friday on the road at Putnam City West.

More on Week Nine of high school football later this week.
