Senior Leadership a Plus for Barnsdall
When Barnsdall takes the field for its week zero game against Caney Valley, they will have nine seniors returning with starting experience from a year ago.
Coach Kylee Sweeney says that senior leadership is showing up early in the season.
Sweeney acknowledges one of the most difficult things to do will be to replace Lincoln Gott, who will be playing football at NEO this fall. The person looking to fill that role will be senior Gavin Wood, who Sweeney says there won't be much of a shift in offensive philosophy.
