The Oklahoma Sooners open the Men's College World Series in Omaha, Neb. on Saturday against Alabama.

The Sooners, through an up and down season, are one of eight teams left for a national championship as an unseeded team. OU beat No. 2 Georgia Tech to win their regional and swept No. 15 Kansas earlier this week on the road to punch their ticket to Omaha.

Head coach Skip Johnson talks about the opportunity to play in the MCWS again.

The Sooners last played in the MCWS in 2022. They fell in the national championship series that season to Ole Miss.

OU went 1-2 against Alabama in the regular season. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
