Winget Day 1 in the Books - Day 2 Friday
Glen Winget Tournament Day 1:
Bartlesville’s AA program the Braves lost to Springfield Hillcrest in a good game one. The Braves fell 6-5 to Springfield. Bartlesville had a brief 5-4 lead before giving up two runs in the sixth.
Elsewhere in the Winget on Thursday:
Elk City beat Branson, 9-4.
It was Southern Elevation with a 10-0 four-inning run-rule win over Burkburnett, Texas.
Kickapoo got a 6-4 win over Ft. Smith, Arkansas.
The Indians beat up on Mountain Home, Arkansas, 7-1.
Games Friday begin at 10:00 AM, an hour earlier than Thursday and Saturday to accommodate a reasonable time for a fireworks display at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium at around 9:45 PM.
