The Osage Nation will take control of the Pawhuska Indian Health Service Clinic on Thursday, October 1^st. An official ribbon-cutting and prayer at sunrise for the newly named WahZhaZhi Health Center on the Osage Reservation will take place from 7:30 to 8:30 A.M. located at 715 Grandview Avenue in Pawhuska.

The Osage Nation takes its first steps into the health-care self-governance arena and will manage and have full authority over the health care funding and the facility. This transaction has been in progress since July when the Osage Nation Congress passed a required resolution supporting the change.
