The Osage County Health Department wants to remind the public that there are safe and responsible ways to dispose of pills that are expired or no longer needed. Across the county, citizens can drop off those pills at the Osage County Sheriff's Office, Osage Nation Health Center, Skiatook Police Department, Fairfax Pharmacy and Hominy Drug and Giftstore.

In an interview from last year, Bartlesville City Manager Mike Bailey says it is worth checking in your medicine cabinet to see if any of your medications may be past the due date.
