Guns Being Claimed in Osage County

District Three Commissioner for Osage County, Charlie Cartwright used to work at the Osage County Jail. At Monday's Board meeting, we learned his gun was one of 27 that had been unaccounted for when Sheriff Bart Perrier took office in January. Perrier cited poor record keeping for the reason, as he has tracked down the owner of 19 of those guns and only eight remain unclaimed.
Cartwright goes into more detail as to how something like this happened.
Also at Monday's meeting, an agreement was signed allowing PSO to set up a temporary staging area at the fairgrounds during an emergency.
