Bartlesville Roundup Club's Green Country Rodeo Returns July 24–26 with Family Fun

The Bartlesville Roundup Club (BRUC) is saddling up for another exciting Green Country Rodeo packed full of professional rodeo action and family entertainment. It all takes place at the Bartlesville Roundup Club arena, located on the west side of town across from the airport, on July 24, 25, and 26.
Appearing on COMMUNITY CONNECTION, Dee Friend with BRUC said the event is sanctioned by both the International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA) and the American Cowboys Rodeo Association (ACRA), this event promises top-tier competition, including crowd favorites like bull riding, calf roping, mutton busting, and the ever-entertaining wild horse race.
Tammy Falleaf with BRUC said the kids will love the calf scramble, and younger fans can also participate in mutton busting, which is a sheep-riding event that takes place between 7:00 and 7:30 p.m., just before the 8:00 p.m. grand entry each night.
Rebekah French said that this year’s event features three Little Britches participants and two queen contestants—Michaela Sumner and Ryan French. Both are actively selling raffle tickets and discounted rodeo passes ($8 in advance, $10 at the gate). Raffle proceeds benefit contestants and offer a chance to win a $500 meat package from Rainey’s Custom Butchering in Ramona.
You can enjoy a variety of refreshments from eight to nine food trucks while you are there. Other attractions include a mechanical bull, owned by former pro bull rider and movie stuntman Kyle Sherwood, whose bull was featured in The Last Rodeo film.
This event wouldn’t be possible without the support of generous local sponsors, including Visit Bartlesville, Osage Casino, 3P Ranch, and many more businesses throughout the region.
Organizers also thank the many volunteers and the Bighorn Rodeo Company, who help prepare the arena and ensure a successful event.
