A Dewey woman is facing a felony charge after allegedly possessing methamphetamine.

55-year-old Brenda Kerr was charged on Monday with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) with intent to distribute.

According to the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, on Jan. 14, agents performed a search warrant on a Dewey residence. As the warrant was being executed, Kerr allegedly admitted to OBN agents that she occasionally sells multiple grams of meth.

The OBN allegedly confiscated four plastic baggies of methamphetamine. The four baggies allegedly weighed 13.8 grams.

Kerr will appear in court again on Aug. 8 at 9 a.m. She posted a $50,000 bond.
