Bartlesville High softball off to a 1-0 start in District play, and 3-2 overall after a blowout win over Bixby in the Lady Bruin’s home opener on Monday night.

BHS topped the Spartans, 12-2.

Bartlesville scored seven runs in the first inning to put the writing on the wall. The Lady Bruins tacked on four in the sixth to end the game early.

Erin Bridendolph drove in four runs in the win, going 3-4 with a triple and a double. Three other Lady Bruins had multiple hits and Kelsi Yales got the win in the circle with 11 strikeouts in six frames.

BHS goes to Preston on Tuesday for a non-District matchup.
