Dewey Bulldoggers football is looking for their second win of the season, following a week zero victory at home over Locust Grove.

Dewey beat the Pirates, 53-34.

Braxton Braden was a big bright spot for the Bulldoggers in the win, throwing for 151 yards and four touchdowns. Head coach Scott Sapulpa talked about Braden running the offense.

Dewey begins their toughest stretch of games on Friday night as they go on the road for Perkins-Tryon. A season ago, Dewey lost to Perkins, 49-0. Perkins is the second 3A school in a row that Dewey will face to open the season. Last year, the Demons went 8-3 and were knocked out in the opening round of the playoffs by Pauls Valley.

Sapulpa talked about the matchup.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. from Perkins.
