The Tyler Memorial Library in Dewey will open its doors for a special three-day fundraising rummage sale from Thursday, October 16 through Saturday, October 18, 2025. The sale runs daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the library, located at 821 N. Shawnee Avenue. Shoppers can browse a wide variety of donated items, with all proceeds going toward community outreach and educational programs.
Library staff are encouraging residents to contribute by donating gently used goods, which can be dropped off at the library any day leading up to the sale. Donations of household items, books, clothing, and other goods are all welcome. Those looking for more information can contact the library at (918) 534-2106.
Funds raised from the rummage sale will directly support the library’s “Take What You Need Station,” a resource offering free travel-size toiletries to those in need. Proceeds will also help purchase materials and supplies for school group visits and library-led educational activities. Organizers say the sale is not only a great way to support local families but also strengthens the library’s role as a hub of care and learning in the Dewey community.
