It's the start of another week and we have another Patriot Auto Group Area Athlete of the week.

This week, we head to Northern Nowata County and feature Oklahoma Union Cougar, Jensen Anderson.

Anderson is currently with the Oklahoma Union basketball team as the Cougars try to make a run in the playoffs. Going into the season, he was the only returner for the Cougars with varsity experience. Anderson talks about his role and experience on the basketball court.

Along with playing basketball, Anderson also played football this past fall and competes in the high jump for OKU's track and field team. Anderson has received a collegiate offer as a high jumper for track and field.

Anderson talks about his choice of study and his motivation behind the choice.

Track season at the high school level is coming up in the next few weeks. Anderson talks about competing at the state track meet as a favorite memory.

On the basketball court, the Cougars play an elimination game on Thursday against Stroud in the consolation regional rounds. Tip-off is at 7:30 in Stroud.
