This fall, Oklahoma FFA chapters will have the opportunity to turn their STEM ideas into reality because of a $40,500 grant by the Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) Foundation to the Oklahoma FFA Foundation.

Oklahoma FFA chapters located in areas served by PSO or where major PSO facilities operate can now apply to the Oklahoma FFA Foundation for a STEM After-School grant. Those who live or teach in PSO service areas can also apply.

Each grant awards eligible FFA chapters up to $2,500 to help fund unique and engaging STEM projects designed by students themselves. Projects from previous years range from vet science equipment to greenhouse watering systems. Projects involving multiple FFA Chapters and use of the grant resources for multiple years are highly encouraged.

"On behalf of the Oklahoma FFA Foundation, we are incredibly grateful to the PSO Foundation for investing in the future of Oklahoma FFA members,” says Jacey Fye, Executive Director of Oklahoma FFA Foundation. “These STEM grants empower our chapters to create hands-on, student-driven projects that build skills, spark innovation, and make a lasting impact in their communities. This support helps ensure our students are better prepared for careers in agriculture, science, and beyond."

Grant applications are accepted through June 30. Visit www.okffa.org/programs to apply.
