13 Candidates File for 5 Bartlesville City Council Seats

Thirteen candidates have filed for seats on the Bartlesville City Council on the final day of candidacy declaration, with competitive races in each of the five Wards.
 
In Ward 1, incumbent Tim Sherrick will face challenger Michael Colaw.
 
In Ward 2, David Austin and Cameron Byers have filed for the seat currently held by Larry East. East did not file for re-election.
 
In Ward 3, a three-way race will occur between incumbent Jim Curd and challengers Josh Lock and Ingard Curtiss.
 
In Ward 4, another three-way race will occur with Joel Rabin and Amanda Veley challenging incumbent Aaron Kirkpatrick.
 
In Ward 5, incumbent Trevor Dorsey will face two challenges from Angela Utley and Eddie Collins.
 
The Bartlesville City Council election will be on Nov. 3.
