Barnsdall's Sophia Galligher Athlete of the Week
It's another Monday, which means it's time for another Patriot Auto Group Area Athlete of the Week being powered by Tri County Tech. Today, we go down Highway 123 and feature Barnsdall softball player Sophia Galligher.
Galligher is also involved in track and cheer, but has always been attracted to softball. She competes in travel ball and as an infielder and outfielder, Galligher said the game is always evolving.
Galligher plans to further her softball career at Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. She talks about what drew her to that college.
Galligher said she doesn't have much free time outside of school, playing softball and two jobs she has picked up. One of those jobs is working at a daycare, something Galligher would like to continue doing.
