Bartlesville Swim Send Off for State Thursday
Bartlesville High swim is getting set for Thursday's send off, as BHS heads to Oklahoma City for the 6A State Swim Meet.
It is a two-day event running Friday and Saturday in Edmond.
BHS took second on both the girls and guys side at the east 6A Regionals. Both Bartlesville teams finished behind Jenks. There will be a few other strong contenders from the west side joining the Trojans and Bruins over the next two days, as well.
Head coach Chad Englehart says the Regional round went well for Bartlesville.
Heading to Oklahoma City a day early, doing a sendoff on Thursday morning with police and cheer and band is all part of making the student athlete experience top-notch.
The sendoff will start at 9:00 Thursday morning from the fine arts center at BHS.
Both Bartlesville teams will have a solid chance to get on the podium.
