Bruin Baseball Falls at DC - Home Tuesday

Bartlesville High baseball dropped game one of its two-game District set at Edmond Deer Creek on Monday night.
The Antlers are one of the state’s best and showed it against the Bruins with a 7-2 victory.
Deer Creek struck for four runs in the bottom of the fourth and two more in the sixth to expand on an early 1-0 advantage.
Deer Creek had 10 hits and reached on five Bruin errors. Underclassmen DJ Thornton competed on the mound in his first District start. He allowed only four earned runs. He had two walks and one strikeout.
Offensively BHS scored its runs in the top of the seventh. Braden Neill tripled in two runs to get BHS on the board.
Bartlesville will try to get a split in the set against Deer Creek on Tuesday with a 6:00 first pitch.
