Bruin Baseball Sweeps Non-District Weekend

Pitching and offense came together on Friday for Bartlesville High baseball, as the Bruins beat Coweta, 6-1.
Cooper Swaim pitched a 1-hit shutout. He walked six and struck out six.
Bartlesville's runs came in bunches. The Bruins struck for three runs in the second, two came on a double from Sam Marcella, the third came on a walk.
The other three runs came in the fourth, thanks to a bunt from Bryce Leulf, a sacrifice fly from Carson Silva and a walk from Luke Massey.
Coweta's lone run came in the bottom of the second.
Bartlesville finished with six hits and four errors defensively.
The win puts Bartlesville back to .500, they are 10-10 overall. Edmond Deer Creek is next on Monday and Tuesday in another district series.
