Checking in With Dewey Football
With the OSSAA mandated dead period now complete, high school football across the state of Oklahoma is ramping up in preparation for a new season.
Many schools across our listening area are bringing in new head coaches for 2025, this includes Scott Sapulpa taking over with the Dewey Bulldoggers.
Sapulpa said progress has showed as Dewey gets closer to their first scrimmage.
Sapulpa was brought on this season as Dewey's defensive coordinator in the spring, and was named head coach shortly after the departure of Ryan Richardson earlier this summer.
In a changing landscape for football in Dewey, Sapulpa talked about some recent additions to the coaching staff.
Dewey opens the season against Locust Grove on Aug. 29.
