Copan boys and girls’ basketball is off on Thursday, but the Lady Hornets and Hornets are back in action on Friday night getting set to take on Prue.

The Hornet guys have lost a couple close ones in a row. Copan fell to Shilder, 77-73 on Monday night. This was following a two-point overtime loss to Medford in the final day of the Medford Tournament.

Head coach Kolton Stacy talks about the Hornet’s better offense since winter break.

Copan has scored 60 points or more in four of its last five. This was following a stretch before break where the Hornets had scored less than 50 in three of four.

Stacy talks about who has been shooting better, as well.

The Copan girls are 2-5, guys are now 6-5 with the Tuesday loss. Friday night’s double-header will be in Copan against Prue starting at 6:00.
