Dewey Baseball Battling for District Title

Dewey Bulldogger baseball is on track to host a regional this year with just two district games left in the season.
The Bulldoggers have won four straight, are 10-2 since their spring break trip to Alabama, and have outscored their opponents in the last four games by a combined score of 33-4. They shutout Keys in a doubleheader on Tuesday, 13-0, and 12-0, respectively. Dewey is 21-5 overall.
Dewey pitching allowed just one hit against Keys in the entire doubleheader.
During the current win streak, the Bulldoggers have compiled 36 hits. Allen talks about the team's depth at the plate.
The Bulldoggers are squarely tied in district record and run differential with Victory Christian. Both teams are 10-2 in district play and split their district series last week. Metro Christian stands in third in 3A District 7 with a 9-2 district record. Metro and Victory play each other next Monday and Tuesday.
Dewey will take on Sperry for their final district series to start next week. The Pirates are 5-7 in district play and 9-15 overall.
Dewey's next game will be Thursday at 5 p.m. on the road against Muskogee.
