Dewey Football Heading Into 2025 Under New Leadership

Dewey Bulldogger football has a new head coach for 2025. The school announced last week that Scott Sapulpa would take over the program after former head coach Ryan Richardson departed.

Sapulpa was brought on during the offseason as the defensive coordinator and a strength coach. Through just about five weeks with the program, Sapulpa said he's happy about the progress the team has made.

Sapulpa previously worked at Pawhuska before coming to Dewey. He's previously coached at Muskogee, Hulbert, Gore and Okay.

Going into a new season under new leadership, Sapulpa said the players have bought in.

Dewey opens at home against Locust Grove on August 29. Check out a preview of Dewey's schedule here.
