Dewey Hoops Finishes Regular Season in Caney

Dewey Bulldogger basketball is back in action on Tuesday night for their regular season finale against the Caney Valley (KS) Bullpups.
Dewey enters the contest as the Northeast Valley Conference champions and winners of 11 straight. The Bulldoggers are 21-2 and ranked No. 15 in the state in 3A.
Last time around against the Bullpups, Dewey won at home on Dec. 19, 66-51. Head coach Lance Knight talked about some differences to playing in Kansas.
The Bulldoggers will head into the postseason on Friday night for a home district championship game against Sequoyah (Claremore). It will be the second season in a row that the Bulldoggers and Eagles collide, and the second time this season that the two will meet.
Dewey beat the Eagles on Jan. 8 in the Oologah Tournament, 51-39. Knight talked about the implications with Friday's game.
The Lady Bulldoggers will get the night started at 6 p.m. with the boys to follow around 7:30 p.m. Both games can be heard on 104.9 - KRIG and KRIGTV.com.
