Overton finished third in the shot put last year at state, Nichols was the state runner-up in discus.
On the track, the girl's team returns Eden McKinney. She finished fifth in the state meet last year. On the guy's side, Keidon Holt, the state runner-up in both the 110-meter and the 300-meter hurdles, and Kavery Weathers, another hurdler, all return.
Dewey hosted their first track meet of the season on Tuesday and will return on Friday for Bartlesville's meet. Close talks about competing against the bigger schools.
