Final Bruin Regular Double-Header at Rejoice

Tuesday night is our final night of regular season high school basketball across the area, as most teams will have their final tune ups before the playoffs begin over the next 10 days.

At Bartlesville High, it is a non-District tuneup for both BHS teams at Rejoice Christian.

BHS swept Rejoice in Bruin Field House before Thanksgiving.

On the girl’s side, it is a final chance to get back on track. The Lady Bruins dropped a tough one to Stillwater at home on Friday. BHS beat Rejoice in November, 72-68.

The BHS girls are 13-9 and are vying for their 14th win before the postseason. Lady Bruins have already wrapped up a 6th place finish in 6A District 3.

On the guy’s side it will be a much taller task. The Bruin boys beat Rejoice in November, 51-28. However, that was without all the Eagles football players early in the season.

Coming off the victory over Stillwater on Friday, head coach Jake Christenson says his team is having to learn how to win.

A 6:30 tip for the girls with the guys to follow at 8:00 on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1. Video coverage on KWONTV.com.

It is the final double-header of the season for BHS.

The Bruin boys have added a game on Feb. 23 at home against Pryor.
