Glen Winget Tournament Begins
Now it is time for the 67th annual Glen Winget Tournament, as Bartlesville’s boys of summer will host the annual tournament beginning at 11:00 on Thursday morning.
There will be 20 games at Rigdon Field over the next four days, highlighted by a fireworks display on Friday evening around 9:45.
Bartlesville has both of its teams in the tournament. A late scratch from the event has put the AA Braves in the first game of the day the next three days.
The Braves face Springfield Hillcrest at 11:00 Thursday morning. The Indians will take on the Mountain Home Lockeroom at 8:00.
We will have both those games on KWONTV.com and on the radio. Braves on Sports Talk 99.1 FM and 1500 AM – KPGM. Indians on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1.
Bartlesville is coming off a Winget title last summer, which was the program’s first since 2018.
