Henry Has Great Night as Shocker
A former Bruin baseball star had one of his career-best nights at the next level, as Wichita State sophomore Zeb Henry played a big part in a Shocker win on Thursday night.
Henry went 2-5 with two RBIs during a WSU 9-5 win over Memphis.
This big two-out knock against one of the Tiger’s best relievers helped extend the Shocker lead.
He also had a double down the line in his next at bat.
Henry is in his first season at Wichita State after spending his freshman year at Eastern Oklahoma State in the junior college ranks. He has been nearly an everyday starter the last couple weeks.
Former Bruin and ORU pitcher Brenden Asher is still locking down the Sunday role for the Golden Eagles and has also been fantastic down the stretch.
