Huskies Prepare for Quarterfinal Battle at Wynnewood

The Pawhuska Huskies are making their longest road trip of the season on Friday night for a Class A-I quarterfinal battle at Wynnewood. The Savages come into the game undefeated and have scored 30 or more points eight times this year.
Coach Matt Hennesy knows the Huskies will have their work cut out for them and that starts with the three and a half hour trip. Hennesy says he likes to stay on a routine and he talks about he plans on doing that, despite the long trip.
Hennesy says the game itself will be one of the biggest challenges they have faced to this point of the season as well. The Savages have around 60 players on the roster and very few of them play both ways. Hennesy did say Wynnewood hasn't seen a spread offense that Pawhuska will present.
Pawhuska's game at Wynnewood will kick off at 7 p.m. Pregame coverage will start at 6:30 p.m. on 99.1 FM KPGM and will be streaming on KPGMTV.com.
