Indians Fall to Tulsa Sandlot

The Doenges Toyota Indians fell on a walkoff wild pitch Tuesday night to Tulsa Sandlot in the second round of the DBAT Tournament, 8-7.
 
The Indians led 7-4 going into the bottom of the fifth inning but could not hang on.
 
The offense got going in the middle innings of the ballgame, the Tribe finished with six hits along with seven runs.
 
Tied at three in the fourth inning, this single by Brett Eaves gave the Tribe the lead.
 
The Indians put up three runs in the fourth inning and three more in the fifth to hold a three-run lead going into the bottom of the fifth. After Sandlot tied the game at four, this wild sequence put the Indians back up by two.
 
On the mound, the Indians got an appearance from guest pitcher and OKWU Eagle Braelin Pippin. He went five innings and finished with one strikeout, allowing six hits and six runs. Bryce Sickler and Zane Griggs followed him up in relief.
 
The loss takes the Indians out of contention to win the DBAT Tournament, they will play a doubleheader on Wednesday starting at 3:30 p.m. with a location to be announced. 
 
Game one can be heard on Sports Talk - 99.1 FM, 1500 AM - KPGM, we will have the finale of the doubleheader on KWON - AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1. Both games will have video coverage on KWONTV.com.
