Lady Bruin Basketball Coach Stepping Down
After five years at the helm leading the Bartlesville Lady Bruin basketball team, Justyn Shaw announced he is stepping away from the program on Friday.
Shaw led the 2025-2026 Lady Bruin team to a 17-11 record and their first state tournament appearance since 2018. Bartlesville Athletics and Activities Director Thad Dilbeck is grateful for what Shaw was able to do while coaching the Lady Bruins.
As the Bartlesville administration begins preparing to find Shaw's replacement, Dilbeck talks about what that process will look like.
Shaw released a statement that said in part he wanted to thank the players for their work ethic and resilience. Shaw was also sure to thank the Bartlesville administration, coaches and community at large.
Shaw began at Bartlesville in the 2021-2022 season.
