Lady Bruin Golf Hosts 6A Preview
Bartlesville High golf is hosting the 6A State Tournament in May, as both the girl’s and boy’s 6A tourney’s will be back-to-back weeks at Hillcrest Country Club.
Wednesday is the 6A State preview on the girl’s side at Hillcrest in Bartlesville, so a good chance you’ll see a ton of high schoolers on the course.
The Lady Bruins are under direction of first-year head coach Layne Parham, who is leading a group of mostly young players.
BHS has four freshman and two seniors on the varsity bags this spring. Parham talks about the State Preview at Hillcrest.
This will be just the second tournament of the year for the Lady Bruins.
Parham says ultimately the results of the State Preview do not matter. He just wants Bartlesville to continue getting better in the early season.
The Lady Bruins tee off at 10:00 on Wednesday morning.
