Lady Huskies Win to Keep Season Alive

The Pawhuska Lady Huskies kept their season alive on Thursday afternoon by getting a 46-34 win over the Crescent Lady Tigers. The Lady Huskies trailed by a point at halftime, but outscored Crescent 28-15 in the second half en route to the win.
In a third quarter that saw Pawhuska get separation late, here is Brooklyn Miles making a play defensively allowing her team to claim a four-point lead.
Pawhuska led by eight going into the fourth quarter. The Lady Tigers trimmed that deficit to two, but when needed most, Miles made this acrobatic shot midway through the fourth quarter, getting the lead back to six.
Brooklyn Miles finished with a game-high 21 points. She also finished with 12 steals and 11 rebounds. Emillee Curry added 13 points.
Pawhuska will now play the winner of Okemah and Caney Valley at 1 p.m. on Friday. That is a game that can be heard on 99.1 FM KPGM and streaming on KPGMTV.com.
