Nowata Looking for First Win Friday
Nowata football returns to the field on Friday night, as the Ironmen are still looking for their first win of the season.
Nowata dropped their home opener last Friday to Warner, 29-8.
On defense, the Ironmen stood their ground. Warner was 1-for-13 on third downs and 2-for-9 on fourth downs. Head coach Chance Juby talked about the defense.
Nowata stays at home on Friday night for Chelsea in the Ironmen's homecoming game. The Green Dragons enter the contest 0-2, with losses to Fairland and Ketchum.
Juby said it should be a great game.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on Friday night from Ironmen Country.
