Dewey Meets Caney Valley at Holly Ward
Dewey and Caney Valley (OK) are back on the floor against each other on Friday night in Ramona.
The Bulldoggers and Trojans have played well lately, the Bulldoggers have won eight of their last nine games. Each of those wins is by double-digits. Dewey is 12-2 overall and No. 19 in the state in 3A.
On the other side, the Caney Valley Trojans have won eight of their last nine games. Caney Valley is 9-3 overall.
After already seeing Dewey once this season on the road, head boys coach Tug Brinker at Caney Valley talked about the Dewey Bulldoggers.
Last time around, Dewey beat Caney Valley on Dec. 5, 53-40.
On the other side, the Dewey Bulldoggers have played excellent defense over the last few games, leading to many double-digit wins during the hot streak.
In the girls game, the Lady Trojans won a thriller in the first matchup over the Lady Bulldoggers by one, 55-54. Caney Valley is 11-1 overall and the No. 16 team in class 2A. The Lady Bulldoggers are 8-6 overall and have won their last two games by double digits.
