Oklahoma Wesleyan is back home for another Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader on Saturday afternoon against Sterling College.

On the women's side, the Lady Eagles are still searching for their first conference win of the season. They fell to Avila University on Wednesday evening after a comeback effort came up short, 70-65.

Head coach Heidi Messer talked about finishing the fall semester strong.

On the men's side, the Eagles are off to a blazing start. They are winners of seven in a row, are 8-1 overall and are 4-0 to start KCAC play. They beat Avila on Wednesday night behind another stellar shooting performance, 71-56.

The Eagles have lots of depth this season and head coach Donnie Bostwick utilizes that depth by making substitutions five players at a time. He talked about the process of substituting during the game.

The Lady Eagles will get the day started at 1 p.m. with the men to follow around 3 p.m. Both games can be heard on Sports Talk, 99.1 FM - KPGM.
