The tail-end of the regular season is here for NAIA basketball and Oklahoma Wesleyan as they host Avila College on Saturday at the Mueller Sports Center for Senior Day. On the men’s side, they have won 16 games in-a-row and sit at 24-1 and ranked #4 in the country.

The men will have three seniors that will play their last home games, and it includes a couple of guys that have been huge for the Eagles dominant runs the past few years. OKWU men will see Kaleb Stokes, Taylen Miller, Makiah Wade, and David Brown suit up at home for the final time on Saturday.

Stokes and Miller have been consistent players for Head Coach Donnie Bostwick the past few years.

On the women’s side, Head Coach Heidi Messer will watch River Jeffries, Ty’Najah Mitchell, and Esperanza Graham compete in their final game at the Mueller. Mary Cone is also a senior but suffered a season ending injury back in early season.

The Lady Eagles grabbed their 9th win of the season on Wednesday, as they beat York, 75-70.

OKWU Women will start the day at 2 pm with the guys to follow at 4 pm in a game we will have for you on SportsTalk 99.1 FM KPGM.
