OSU Golfers in U.S. Open
A couple of former OSU Cowboys are hanging around after day one of the U.S. Open.
Former Poke and Stillwater resident Viktor Hovland is tied for 20th after day one at Oakmont Country Club. Hovland finished one-over 71. He went bogey, birdie, bogey, birdie over the final four holes to complete an up-and-down Thursday.
His one-over par is five shots in back of the leader, American JJ Spaun, who is -4 after the first round yesterday, Spaun stands alone in first.
Meanwhile another former Poke Wyndham Clark is four over after day one, he had a double-bogey on 18.
