Panthers Prepared to Face a Familiar Face
The Barnsdall Panthers secured an easy 36-6 Week zero win over the Caney Valley Trojans last Friday. With four touchdowns called back because of a penalty, Coach Kylee Sweeney said the outcome could have been better, but he is proud of the way his group played in all three phases of the game.
This week, their eyes turn toward Nowata County where they will take on the Oklahoma Union Cougars. Coach of the OKU Cougars, Bruce Munden, is a former head coach of the Panthers and Sweeney says Munden will have his group prepared.
Friday's game will be our game of the week on 100.1 KYFM. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. from Oklahoma Union High School.
